Be proud of who you are for you are the only “you” there is in this moment. The blemishes you see are beauty in our eyes. The imperfections you may feel are illusions of your mind created out of false judgment and measuring.

Must laugh at this one LOL— the blemishes I see are there and age is showing but the secret is not to let how you look bother you or be that important of a deal in your life— it’s okay to be what I like to say just “good enough” when you are in your late eighties. The imperfections aren’t illusions, they are how you look and the secret is — that is okay. I used to say that if you are walking down the street and people don’t shudder when they see you — then you are ahead. When I look back at photos, I realize that I was pretty darn cute young, but I did not know that at the time, so looks have never been a standard in my life. But blemishes are blemishes and not illusions — and that is okay too. Love, Jackie >
