Today I am sharing a “Guest Post” by Khushboo Arora, which I found very powerful. Please consider this wisdom.

I’ve got a little story to share today –
” A wise man sat in the audience and cracked a joke.
Everybody laughed like crazy.
After a moment, he cracked the same joke again.
This time, less people laughed.
He cracked the same joke again and again.
When there was no laughter in the crowd, he smiled and said:
You can’t laugh at the same joke again and again, but why do you then keep crying over the same thing over and over again? “

Well, Alan if you want me to shut up — then say so. A light laugh at a joke cannot be compared to a significant happening or loss for example, but the point is well taken — that it is futile to muck around in grief or any other lighter negative emotion, but it is a process and different people come to realize usually in their own time.
